District 10 authorities will liquidate stall leasing contracts with 230 traders of the Ky Hoa Night Market on December 1, 2008.(A shoe stall at Ky Hoa Night Market.)The clearance of Ky Hoa Night Market is said to be in line with the city’s overall construction plans.The Ky Hoa Night Market has operated for four years and created jobs for more than 1,500 people. The annual turnover of the market is around VND32 billion (US$1,906,761).The market has so far been a favorite shopping place for low and average incomers including workers, pupils and students.The management of 540 sq. meter Hong Bao Minh Trading Center in Tan Phu District has announced it is ready to welcome traders from the Ky Hoa Night Market to the center. The trading center now has more than 100 stalls available.
